Advent ~ Day 16

Today's reading came from Luke 2:13&14, just two verses:

¹³ And suddenly there appeared with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying,

¹⁴ “Glory to God in the highest,
And on earth peace among men with whom He is pleased.”

Can you imagine what the multitude would have sounded like?  Bet it would have been the best choir ever heard!  Out in the fields, not much distraction.  

Would you have been able to just listened and absorbed the sounds?  Or would you have be analyzing the words of verse 14, wondering if He was pleased with you?  As shepherds, these gentlemen may not have thought there was much to be pleased with in their lives.  Thank goodness, God sees it all and knows it all.  He sees the true nature of our hearts.  

May we be able pause in the business of life to hear "the multitudes of heavenly host praising God" and join in with them.

Here is what day 16 brought our boys.  May try to take another photo tomorrow and get a less blurry one.  This was the best out of the 5 I took.
