Swim Party

These photo's are from the end of the season swim party for Newington Forest Neptunes.  I'm posting them, more as an effort to "stretch" my computer savvy skills.  There's a lot that can be done with computers now a days (good and bad, unfortunately) and I'm trying to keep up a bit.  I didn't necessarily edit them much, but added backgrounds to each, grouped them, and saved as one photo.  Not to bad, I suppose, for someone who tried hard to forget computer stuff after the first was born.

More Swimming Pictures

The swimming season is coming to a rapid end.  We have three more morning practices, a Spaghetti Dinner Friday, Divisionnal's on Saturday morning, and team party on Saturday night.  It will feel so good to not have to rush to the pool first thing in the morning.

Thought that those who view my blog would enjoy seeing what the boys do while waiting for their event,  LEGO's.  It's a hit with a lot of the 8 and unders.  As much as mine enjoy swimming, I think bringing the things to keep them busy is more fun.

So, here's Thing Two at his first Mini's meet. He wasn't quite ready

for having to swim 25 meters. Yes, he is crying; but one of

the big kids is with him!!

So, with the boys being so busy with swimming, they're eating more. We had taco's for dinner tonight. Next time, we'll have to fix 2 pounds of meat. The boys are eating more and more. Ack!!!

No Pictures, but

the boys did well at the swim meet last night. It got postponed from Monday to Tuesday due to thunderstorms and lightening. Thing One took about 10 seconds off of his freestyle and was quicker on backstroke. Thing Two, much to his surprise, swam 25 meters, with a kick board and the help of an older swimmer.

Another meet tonight and one on Saturday. Beginning to think that swimming takes more time than football. Boys are active and I get to hang out with adults when they're at practice.
