VA Beach

We just returned from a visit to see my parents. The boys had a lot of fun fishing this trip. Once again, I couldn't bring myself to bait the hook or get the fish off. I tried, but couldn't muster up the will power. If it were between eating or not touching the fish, I'd learn quickly how to cope with a slimmy fish. Thankfully, most grocery stores have fish fillets already cleaned, so all I have to do is cook it. Here are a few pictures:

Thing One's catch - a bass

Thing Two catches a catfish

The moon a beautiful orange yesterday morning.
Was kind of neat, in that the night before there was a lot
of cloud to cloud lighting. It was amazing to watch.

Something fishy!!

The "boys" enjoyed fishing while in Virginia Beach this past weekend.  Kevin, borrowing Ian's pole, caught a cat fish.  Catch and release though.  He was surprised by it;  his thought was "one more cast and I'll call it quits!!"

Probably will be a "tradition" to fish at their "southern" grandparents house.  It's something that my dad and children (not meaning Kevin) enjoy doing together.  I hope they'll remember it in the years to come.
